What is a Raspberry Pi ? 


Raspberry Pi is a single board computer which is the size as small as a credit card. It’s developed by Raspberry Pi foundation in UK with the key intention to provide a basic platform to teach computer science in school. This product is available for sale now and cost approx US$35.

One of the key function of the Raspberry Pi is to allows the user to connect to the TV via HDMI interface, for learning programming, act as a media center for video playback or gaming functions.

The Raspberry pi has been used by students, hobbyist, technical professional as a starter kit to develop applications and control function around it.  It is also being used in industrial control and as a central processing units which integrate and control the overall system.
